Red-necked Falcon

Distributed widely in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Iran, Red-necked Falcon are also popularly known as Red-headed Merlin. The Red-necked Falcon is a medium-sized bird and can be easily identified by the bright rufous crown and nape. The Red-necked Falcon’s population is declining due to habitat destruction and dearth in prey supply.
