Pheasant-tailed Jacana

The pheasant-tailed jacana is a bird of the waders family. The Pheasant-tailed Jacana is distinct because it has different plumages for the breeding and non-breeding seasons and this is very unique in the Jacanidae species. Unmistakable with its long tail, this bird is really graceful when walking on the vegetation in the wet lands. They are capable of swimming; however, they are usually observed walking on the vegetation.
