Western-reef Egret

Western Reef-egret, also called the Western Reef-heron, is a medium-sized heron found in southern Europe, Africa and parts of Asia. This bird has two plumage colours. There is an all-white morph and a dark grey morph. They are also known as Reef- Egret, Indian Reef Egret, Indian Reef Heron, Reef Heron, Arabian Reef Egret, Red Sea Reef Heron. A group of herons has many collective nouns, including a “battery”, “hedge”, “pose”, “rookery”, and “scattering” of herons.”
